Ricky set me the task of creating a wallpaper for the new Uber Agency website which will have windows in front but if your willing you can move the windows to see what the text says.
Was given three quotes to work with including the team moto..

"Our name means, over, above, more than. We work hard every day to live up to our name."
Was told to research grunge/abstract/quirky look for the backgrond. So headed to google and tried to find wallpapers and typographical influences in this format. Ricky gave me a couple of websites he had previously looked at and i think this was very helpful..

They really helped me and it gave me plenty of ideas to get on with. I also checked out the Uber old website to see what kind of stuff they liked. Also taking into myself the look of the studio, main colours being RED BLACK AND WHITE so i knew i had to work with them 3 colours. Ricky said approach it more typographical so tired my best to find fonts on suitcase fashion to help me along. He said it would be better to have a juxtaposition so such as grunge but also clean background or clean text with gurngie background!

These was a few inspirations i took in and tried to do something with, but don't think any of these where good enough so went onto a texture background with the text!

Clean type, grunge background with a typographic feel. Easy to read, appealing to me and asthetic.
Simple typography with a plain white background using corporate colours. Works well from my point of view but isn't what the brief wants due to having no grunge or abstract..
These where my other ideas, i have put these separate because i think these are my best designs. Ricky took a look after day one and thought they was good but needed to be a bit more edgy so i tried my best on the second day and these where the results.
He hasn't taken a look but has not set me a new brief.. Will update when he takes a look
